...and you fear could result in the revocation of your car expert card? (And it’s probably a shitty car anyway.)
Like that girl in high school your friends hated, you participated in making fun of her behind her back, but you actually had a crush on?
Come on people, it’s holiday season, time for love and forgiveness - put it out there.
I’ll start...
I even liked the late Sebring...
Bonus:

I don’t know if I’d ever own one (I’d imagine there’s zero visibility out the back), but I like the way these look.
I even kinda like the GLC...
And after seeing Doug’s video, I even sort of see the appeal of a giant luxury truck

I feel like I see wayyyyy too many 200's with burnt out headlights.
did they even cheap out on bulbs?
my guilty car is probably first gen insights

Like a C30, but less reliable.

Uhhh... hmm... I mean, the tC was pretty cool. I like the Malibu Maxx SS. Oh, I’m totally okay with driving cars with automatic transmissions and the people who go “no manual, no buy” to new cars probably weren’t going to buy that car anyway.
I don’t really think there’s anything I like that I’m embarrassed about. There are cars I don’t like that I get flack for, but meh, it’s the internet.

I KNOW this’ll get my Jalop card revoked, but I kinda like the shape of the Honda Crosstour. The rear ‘haunch’ just kinda looks right.
It’s too big, tho: I’d like it better about 6/7ths of actual size.
Aight: go ahead and flame me. I’m ready.

My guilty pleasure list could be its own site. Guess I’ll start here:
And probably 100 others.

1. [gasp]
2. GLC (non-coupe) looks pretty good in person.
3. [gasp]

I love the Scion tC (2nd gen pre-facelift).

I will proudly stand behind all of my poor taste. The only car I like that you guys have really given me shit for is the Mazda CX 3.

Eh, I think the GLC Coupe also looks good. The GLE Coupe, on the other hand, is just too big. It looks like a wandering elephant.

There’s a GLC coupe now? I made typo; 1) should read “GLE coupe”

I have no issue admitting many cars I’d gladly own are crap. As an example; I would gladly drive a turbo, woody, convertible k-car.

A Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo. 2L 5 cylinder Turbo. Chris Bangle desgined it in the 90's.

1. Yeah I don’t really understand why either, tbh
2. They’re just really nicely proportioned
3. Anything really big and high off the ground is fun to drive, and they have lots of
cool quirks and interesting features

I actually REALLY like the Mercedes SUV “Coupes”. They’re really big and burly looking. Like a viking turned into a car. They’re not really pretty, but they’re very intimidating. I’d drive one if I had a stupid amount of money and I didn’t care about practicality.

Mid-2000s GM was a goldmine for this sort of thing for me. There was theHHR SS, which was basically a wagon version of the Cobalt SS.
There was the Allure/LaCrosse Super, my personal favourite of the silly mid-2000s GM FWD V8 full size cars. I’ve heard these things are astonishingly quick for what they are.
And then there was the Saab 9-7x Aero. The most American Saab ever. Something about a “Swedish” SUV with an LS stuffed under the hood is just silly to me.

TBH I’m not even that ashamed of it. It was better looking than a Grand Am for a start.

I owned a Smart Fortwo for ten months. Loved that thing to bits but couldn’t handle the high maintenance costs and dreadful reliability. (I even liked the derpy single-clutch automated gearbox!) Now I drive a boring silver Honda, which is a far better car objectively but doesn’t quite deliver the same level of visceral thrill.

The HHR SS is cool, but man that interior is garbage. And hard to see out of

When it came out I thought the 7th gen T230 Celica was cool. Now I know much better and my god have they not aged well

Chevy SSR. Honda CR-Z. I could go on.
